February Events

Hi Sisters!

Since it is the middle of the month already!?, only the current announcements will be posted.

           Visiting Teaching Conference - Monday, February 23rd @ 6:30pm at the ward building.  Please try your hardest to attend.  There will be a skit activity and wonderful information presented in the spirit of helping us understand our role as Visiting Teachers. 

            Winter Book Sale - For all of you that enjoy reading, the Downtown Library will be hosting a booksale in its lobby.  It may be worth your time to check it out! The times are as follows:

                        Wednesday, Feb 24th - 5-8pm - for Friends Members Only - a membership table will  be available from 4-5pm for those who would like to join the evening of the sale. 

                      Thursday and Friday, February 25th and 26th - 10am- 5pm - Sale is open to the  general public. 
         
                      Saturday, Feb 27th - 10am - 4pm -Sale open to the general public. $3 bag of  books special (bring a brown paper grocery bag and fill it with your choice of books for $3!

February Book Club

This February marked the 3rd Anniversary for the Book Club!  It was a lovely get-together with a lot of new faces last Thursday!  After sharing books with one another, Marionberry pie and valentine treats were in order!  Thank you to all who came to support the Book Club and for all the new faces.  Hopefully for the next one, there will be even more!  Next month's book club will meet on Thursday, March 11th and we will be posting the names of the books reviewed and hopefully have some pictures!

Book Club reminder

Sisters,

Tonight (Thursday Feb 11)  is the 3rd Anniversary of the Book Club!  Please come join us at the ward building @ 6:30.  Come join us whether you are currently reading a book or not and see what it is about... it is a great way to get to know each other and possibly become interested in a new book to read!  We hope to see you there!
