Visiting Teaching Conference

The Visiting Teaching Conference that we recently assembled for on the 23rd of February was a lot of fun and a great opportunity for us to think about how we go about our Visiting Teaching personally.  Jodi Fuller and a cast of sisters put on a wonderful little skit that has made us all look at shoes a little differently!  The skit focused on different types of shoes as in sneakers, loafers, flip-flops, and high heels and related them to different strategies we might have as visiting teachers and how they each related to a "sore foot" or in this case... Sister Blister!  It helped us think about how we can improve ourselves by remembering that each of the sisters that we visit are indeed important "soles" and need our loving care.

Although it was a light-hearted evening, there were serious undertones that allowed us all to think about how we could do better with our partners to become the best visiting teachers possible. We wrapped the evening up with cake so beautifully made by Darla Nielsen and a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit!
Thanks to all of those that attended and we hope to see everyone, including the ones that weren't able to make it to our other upcoming events!
